Most warranties require annual service. More importantly, this is when small problems get caught while they are still cheap to fix.

Dirty coils and clogged filters force the system to run longer to hit the same temperature. Tune-up restores capacity and cuts run time.
Rooms cool or heat unevenly
Could be a duct leak, a closed damper, or a refrigerant charge that is off. Maintenance visit identifies which one and fixes it.

Squealing belts, rattling panels, hissing refrigerant lines. Each one points to a specific failure mode. Earlier diagnosis means cheaper repair.
System short-cycles

Refrigerant charge check
Pressures measured at the line set, charge compared to manufacturer spec for the outdoor temperature. Adjusted only if a leak has reduced it.

Filter replacement or wash
Old filter pulled, sized correctly, replaced. We carry common sizes on the truck. Reusable filters get cleaned and reinstalled.

Electrical inspection
Capacitors tested, contactor pitting checked, wire connections tightened, amp draws verified. Bad capacitors and pitted contactors are the most common AC failures we replace.

Heat exchanger and burner inspection
On furnace tune-ups: heat exchanger checked for cracks, burners cleaned, flame sensor wiped, ignition system tested. Carbon monoxide check at the supply registers.

Condensate drain clearance
Algae buildup in condensate lines is a leading cause of mid-summer water leaks and shutdowns. We flush the line and treat to prevent the next clog.

Schedule the visit
Call (575) 636-2754 or use the form. Most tune-up visits run 60 to 90 minutes. We give you a 2-hour arrival window and call when on the way.

On-site inspection
Tech walks through the home and asks about how the system has been performing. Anything you have noticed gets investigated.

Multi-point service
Coils cleaned, electrical checked, refrigerant verified, filter replaced, drain cleared, system run through a full cycle.

Findings review
Tech shows you what was done and flags anything that needs attention. Repairs are quoted in writing. You decide what to do and when.

If you want, we set up an annual reminder so you never miss a season. Members get priority response and a written checklist at every visit.

How often should I have my system serviced?
Once per year minimum. Twice if you have both AC and heating and want each tuned at the start of its season. The Las Cruces dust load shortens the time between needed service compared to most cities.
What does a tune-up cost?
Pricing depends on the unit type and access; we quote it when you book. Maintenance plan members get both seasonal visits as part of the plan.Will a tune-up actually save me money?
Yes, in two ways. Lower energy bills (a clean coil and correct charge can save 10 to 20 percent on cooling), and fewer big repairs because problems get caught early.
Do you service systems you did not install?
Yes. We service every brand and most ages of equipment. We are an authorized Trane dealer but the maintenance and repair work covers all manufacturers.
What is included in your maintenance plan?
Two visits per year (spring AC, fall heating), a written checklist each visit, priority response, and small parts handled on the spot. Ask about plan pricing when you call.How long does a tune-up take?
